Theme: The morality of murder
Synopsis: The Murder on the Orient Express is a classic Agatha Christie novel featuring our beloved protagonist, Poirot. The train mysteriously comes to a halt in the middle of the night when a fellow passenger is murdered, The book shows him in a puzzling light when he is trying to solve a case while stranded on a train in the middle of nowhere.

Review: I feel like the book really highlights Poirot's talents by making him solve a mystery with no extra place of research than the train itself, and Poirot's calmness while piecing together the mystery, which comes in direct contrast with the fact that there is a murderer amongst them adds to the sense of fear while reading the book, allowing you to get tangled up in one of Agatha Christie's intricate webs.
