Anne of Green Gables is an amazing classic for teens. It was written by L.M. Montgomery in 1908. The story is about an inspiring, imaginative and creative feminist, Anne, who after living most of her life in an orphanage, finds herself being adopted by a pair of siblings, Matthew and Marilla, who are in their 50's and 60's and live in Avonlea.
This story is about how Anne grows up and thrives in her new environment. A Netflix original series has been inspired by this lovely story and is called 'Anne with an E'. It is a series of 8 books, and this is the first book of that beautiful series.
