I never liked the darkness or even the night.
Together, they both give me quite a fright.
Maybe that's why I like to watch the sunrise.
To watch it all day, I would pay a very hefty price.
It's like the beauty of the sky, hidden away unravels.
It's like a warm welcome to the sun after it's long world wide travel.
Or maybe because it signifies new beginnings, with no mistakes.
Without the pain of regrets that make the mind ache.
It feels like freedom after a miserable war.
It's like the fuss of loved ones that everyone would die for.
Whatever it is, I like to watch the rising sun.
And to my modest heart, it will always seem fun.
